The executive members of football鈥檚 world governing body, Fifa, have elected Gianni Infantino of Switzerland as their new president. He succeeds Sepp Blatter, who stood down last year amid a corruption crisis that later saw him banned from football for six years. Iranians are today voting in the first test of public opinion since Iran signed a deal with world powers over its nuclear programme.
