Venus - portrait of a planet
In some ways, Venus is the twin of Earth, in other ways it most certainly is not
In some ways, Venus is the twin of Earth, in other ways it most certainly is not. Venus is set to transit the sun in an event not seen for over 120 years. To mark the event the first in a two part series examines Venus, often said to be Earth's twin. It's exactly the same size and only slightly less dense, made mostly of volcanic rocks, but it is there the similarity ends. Presented by Duncan Steele.
