Will MEPs act like 'monkeys with guns'?
With 48 hours to go until the summit where David Cameron hopes to seal the deal, the Prime Minister is in Brussels to drum up support among MEPs for his EU reform demands. MEPs have the power to block any possible agreement.
Bruno Waterfield, Brussels correspondent for The Times and Gy枚rgy Sch枚pflin, Hungarian MEP from the governing Fidesz Party spoke to the 成人快手 Radio 4's The World at One.
Mr Waterfield said of the current negotiations, "it's the moment when people are trying to see who blinks first", while Mr Sch枚pflin told presenter Martha Kearney that some groups in the European Parliament will be "very hostile" to elements of UK-EU deal.
