Michael Caine: 'You can't vote for an actor because he's black'
"You can't vote for an actor because he's black", said Sir Michael Caine commenting on the Oscars controversy about the lack of nominations for black actors.
He went on to praise Idris Elba's performance in Beasts of No Nation as "wonderful" and thought he would be nominated for an Oscar.
"Be patient鈥t took me years to get an Oscar", he said to Nick Robinson for the Today programme.
