Marcel Van Der Kraan, a dutch football journalist who has followed Louis Vaan Gaal throughout his career, believes the Manchester United boss can come through this poor run of results and turn around the form at Old Trafford.

Van Der Kraan described Van Gaal as "at his best" when he's responding to criticism but told Sportsworld that when the Dutchman walked out of his prematch press conference before the festive fixtures he looked like he was at one of the lowest points in his career.
