Canadian firm cashing in by bottling fresh mountain air
A Canadian startup is making money from thin air, by selling cans of it to those living in smoggy Chinese cities.
Co-founder Troy Paquette said he started Vitality Air after putting a ziplock bag of "amazing" Rocky Mountain air on eBay as a joke.
He said every one of his products was hand-filled and that a 7.7-litre can cost CA$32 (拢15) and contained about 150 breaths.
A shipment of 4,000 more bottles is now making its way to China to satisfy demand. The country has seen worryingly high pollution levels in recent months.
