Mike Scott and legendary bassist David Hood talk Waterboys and Muscle Shoals with Mark
Mike Scott and legendary bassist David Hood talk touring with the Waterboys and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio.
The Waterboys formed in 1983 and their music could be described as a mix of Celtic folk music and rock and roll. They split in 1993 when Mike pursued a solo career, but reformed in 2000 and are currently on tour.
Muscle Shoals Sound Studio was formed in Sheffield, Alabama, in 1969 when a group of four session musicians - including David - decided to create their own recording set-up.
