England performance 'irrelevant' against France - Wright
Former England international footballer Ian Wright says England players鈥 performance in the friendly against France on Tuesday is irrelevant in the wake of the Paris attacks.
Speaking to Today sports presenter Rob Bonnet, he said the teams would be playing in a 鈥渟trange atmosphere鈥 and questioned whether the game should have gone ahead 鈥 despite being part of the ITV commentary team.
鈥淲hat are you going to say about a player that doesn鈥檛 play that well tonight?鈥 he said.
鈥淭onight it鈥檚 going to be really hard to analyse them.鈥
