'They are cutting off their hands and legs'

Zohib Islam Amiri is now a national "hero" in Afghanistan after becoming the captain of the national football team, but he remembers a time under the Taliban regime when going to watch games as a child also led to horrific scenes of violence at half time and full time.
Although not banned, football was severely restricted in Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001, with football stadiums often used by the Islamist movement to stage public executions and forced amputations.
Ten years later Amiri returned to play in Kabul's national stadium and admits it was "a scary moment".
