Start your day with the latest news and updates, with Jim and Jo at breakfast.

"Our hearts are breaking".

That's the moving message this morning from the mum and dad of the missing schoolgirl Kayleigh Haywood as the search to find her enters a fifth day. The 15-year-old from Measham has not now been seen since last Friday evening. And yesterday, after widening their search, detectives confirmed they were treating her disappearance as a murder inquiry. Jo is in the north west Leicestershire town of Ibstock. It's here -at the popular beauty spot of Sense Valley Forest Park - where the police initially focused their operations.
Also, the number of betting shops in Leicester is under the spotlight - as part of a new review. The city council have to issue bookies with licences, and at the moment there are 65 shops. But the authority now wants to look at the impact those establishments are having on the people who use them. Well, one obvious outcome of betting is debt - and our reporter Jo Hollis spoke to Andrew Hamilton, who is a local money advisor
And, this weekend sees the Christmas Lights switched in on Leicester City centre. There will be many different activities throughout the city to celebrate the official start of the festive period. One of these events is Light The Night 2015, which takes place around Orton Square on Sunday. Described as an Outdoor Interactive Visual spectacular, the event offers a number of digital and innovative activites, including The Megagamer Joystick, a giant arcade game, with a huge 5ft high controller.
