'This is probably the biggest threat to our economy'
Major business group the Institute of Directors has said cyber-crime is one of the biggest threats facing businesses and their customers, and is calling for urgent action. This follows the news that the broadband provider TalkTalk has been subjected to a serious cyber-attack, affecting up to four million of its customers.
We spoke to our tech correspondent Rory Cellan Jones, as well as Oliver Parry, senior corporate governance adviser at the Institute of Directors and Hazel Blears, former Labour ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Office minister and member of the Commons intelligence and security committee.
"The threat is changing hour by hour," Mr Parry said.
"This was a disaster waiting to happen," said Ms Blears.
