Excitement is building amongst Leicester's Indian community around the visit to the UK of the Indian Prime Minister. But this isn't any Indian Prime Minister - Narendra Modi - is one of the most popular but also most devisive leader of the country for a generation. As we heard there Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will be met by hundreds of his fans from Leicestershire at Wembley arena this weekend - for what they promise will be an entertainment extravaganza. They also hope to hear a 'landmark' speech to the Indian community in the UK - the largest outside of India.
Also, it's been called the "marmite" theatre - you either love it or hate it. But you can't ignore it. Nor can it be denied that Leicester's striking Curve Theatre - initially condemned as a costly carbuncle - is now one of the most culturally and commercially successful venues is the country. Tonight, on 成人快手 1 from 7.30 - a special programme, "On Stage", goes behind the scenes at Curve. It meets its critics, those responsible for it creatively and those who are making it work, commercially.
And, plans to bring a new lease of life to a working men's club in Leicester have been brought to a staggered halt this weekend. Church members of Emmanu'-EL Apostolic Church bought the Aylestone & District Working Men's Club on Saffron Lane with the hope of converting it into a church and community centre. But after collecting the keys, they had a terrible shock.
