A local charity which has helped thousands of people in Leicestershire is now in need of help itself. Helping Hands is based in South Wigston and has been advising people in crisis for 18-years, but now faces closure in just a few months because of a lack of money. In the past, funding has come from Oadby and Wigston Borough Council, local trusts, the National Lottery and donations from local businesses. But that's all quickly running out- leaving thousands of vulnerable people with no where to turn.
