She was born in London and raised in Canon Frome, near Ledbury.
听
Born to an English Quaker father and Filipino Catholic mother, they fostered teenagers including asylum seekers from Zimbabwe and Afghanistan - exposing her to musical cultures from all over the world.
听
For the past seven years, she's been performing in Dubai and released her debut EP in New York City after being picked up by a record label.
听
Her first single, Unite, features the Grammy award-winning group The Soweto Gospel Choir and to celebrate its launch it became our 成人快手 Introducing Track of the Week.
听
Fresh back from living in the UAE, Melisa joined us for an extra special session as part of this year's Worcester Music Festival.
听

Back then, she was writing and performing tracks with a band called听.

Over those next few months, we forwarded three of her best singles onto Huw Stephens and Tom Robinson and invited her band to perform a live session with us at Nozstock.

Just one year later, Becky landed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to听.

She's since teamed up with several high profile producers and is regularly performing gigs all over the world.

New album

, who formed around seven years ago, performed at the London venue as part of Blues Fest 2014 but after an issue over rights - were forced to re-record the album elsewhere.

Using the same 成人快手 sound engineer - they performed a hometown gig at The Cube - and the final mix is released today.

This coincides with front-woman Becky Tate picking up a third gold in the British Blues Awards for Instrumentalist Of The Year.

The event has been compared to a local version of SXSW with several pubs and clubs around the city hosting live music with song-writing workshops also taking place during the weekend.

It was founded in 2008 by Chris Bennion who makes Worcestershire Sauce who wanted his area to be known for more than just Lea & Perrins.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.

On Sunday 11 October, we'll be rolling up to the听听to record several acts who we've been playing on听成人快手 Hereford & Worcester听recently.

We'll bring the bands - all we need now - is the fans!听
听
None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they听.
听
So if you'd like to Be Part Of It then simply turn up on the day - it's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!听

Doors open at 2pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up anytime until 6pm.
