Will humans be replaced by machines? What tasks can machines already perform just as well - or even better - than we can? These are the questions we have been asking all week with a number of reports about the progress being made in artificial intelligence.
We have learned they can compose jazz music and even predict a winning ticket at the races, but as business presenter Simon Jack found out while reporting from Seattle, they are not perfect - yet.
