Married to the farm - Malcolm and Ann
Malcolm and Ann are farmers.
They've known one another since they were 13, but Ann didn’t intend to marry a farmer.
She was a 'townie' who wanted to be a librarian in Barnstaple.
He was from a family which had been farming since 1640.
They now have 200 acres and 110 Jersey cows. He's a former President of the Jersey Herd Society and a judge.
She used to run a B&B on the farm and do the book-keeping for the milk round.
Their farm has endured foot and mouth, and TB.
Now they're in the process of handing it over to their son (although Star the dog probably thinks it’s his anyway).
