Martin Vickers: Delays to rail electrification 'disappointing'

The Transport Secretary, Patrick McLoughlin, will face questions from MPs about plans to "pause" electrification projects on some railway lines.

The Conservative manifesto included pledges to electrify more rail lines, but the 成人快手 has learned that Network Rail took a decision in March that electrification might have to stop within weeks of polling day on May the seventh.

Conservative MP, Martin Vickers sits on the Commons Transport select committee - says Mr McLoughlin will have serious questions to answer.
