Greek MPs Vote on Crucial Reforms
Greek MPs vote on a crucial set of reforms needed to unlock vital bailout funds. Plus, Italian police seize $2bn of assets from the country's biggest mafia organisation.
Another night, another late and raucous session in the Greek parliament, where MPs vote on another set of reforms needed for a new bailout. Legal and banking changes are on the agenda, along with plans for a shake up of the rules on repossessing homes.
Italian police seize $2.2bn worth of assets from notorious Mafia group, the Ndrangheta. Based in the southern tip of the country, the group is thought to be behind most of Europe's cocaine trade and in 2013 made more money than McDonald's and Deutsche Bank put together. Among the confiscated assets are over 1,500 betting shops and gaming websites.
We delve into more than one million minutes of seminal moments and historical clips from the Associated Press archive, which has just been uploaded to YouTube. AP hopes the venture, in conjunction with British Movietone, will generate more cash from licensing rights and advertising.
Plus, we hear about the student debt mountain in the US and the debate there about whose face should appear on the new $10 bill.
