A 91 year wait for the All Blacks
Despite the close relationship between the two countries and their shared passion for rugby, until this week the New Zealand All Blacks had never played a Test match in Samoa.
Crowds lined the streets to welcome the New Zealand team when they arrived and the match, which New Zealand won by 25 points to 16, brought the country to a standstill. The prime minister Tuilaepa Sailele, who's also the chairman of the Samoa Rugby Union, declared a half-day national holiday.
Former Captain Dan Leo earned 39 caps for his country and three for the Pacific Islanders. He played in the 2007 and 2011 Rugby World Cups.
