Teaching Unions in Leicester and Leicestershire are calling on the government to crack down on problem pupils. It comes as the Department for Education sets out new measures to tackle low level disruption in our schools. The Education Minister and Loughborough MP Nicky Morgan says she wants to give new training to teachers to tackle bad behaviour which "unfairly disrupts pupils' learning". Tom Bennett, a school behaviour expert has also been appointed by the government to help teachers in England address "low-level disruption". He said he aimed to tackle behaviour such as swinging on chairs, making silly comments & passing notes.
