The Kenton Sound Is Still Here
Dave Tyas leads SK2 and he tells of the arrangements he was given so that people could hear the music.
We find out about SK2 the orchestra which plays Stan Kenton music from Stan Kenton arrangements. They have a mission to keep the Kenton sound alive and ensure that it is heard by a 21st century audience. Also there's news of the twelfth Bridgnorth Jazz Festival and we remember B B King with a rocking example of some blues backed by some notable jazz musicians.
