The world's population is getting older. By 2050, nearly two billion people on the planet will be 60 or over. So who is going to look after them all? Mariko Oi reports from Japan on its experience with a rapidly ageing population, while Anu Anand hears from several generations of the same family living under one roof in Delhi.
Professor Sarah Harper, director of the Oxford Institute for Population Ageing outlines the challenges for governments. Experts Alexandre Kalache, president of Brazil's International Longevity Center and Siva Raju from the Tata Institute for Population, Health and Development in Mumbai in India, give their views.
