George and Jo: The Business Is Pushing Us Apart
Buying a derelict fish and chip shop is not necessarily Georges idea of having fun. As compensation for not emigrating to Sri Lanka Jo has decided to jump out of the frying pan into the fire by having an adventure in Shap. Re-opening the local fish and chip shop in an isolated village high up in the Dales of the Eden Valley in Cumbria, is a world away from the exotic charm of the wonder of Asia, with its endless beaches, and timeless ruins. But winning a recent award for their chips perhaps suggests there is method in Jo's madness . . . . but at what cost for their same-sex relationship?
