Hear and Now Psappha, Trio Accanto Sound Strata of Coastal Northumberland

Composer Kerry Andrew visits the Gymnasium Gallery in Berwick-upon-Tweed, where a new work by the American sound artist Susan Stenger has been installed. It uses as a graphic score an 1838 geological diagram of the Northumberland coastline by local mining engineer Nicholas Wood and fuses Stenger鈥檚 characteristic drones with Northumbrian folk tunes.
