Mum: We were ‘shunted out' of the primary school catchment area
A mum from Hampshire says she has been "shunted out" of the catchment area for primary schools.
Louise Buckmaster said that her 4 year old daughter Madeleine hadn't received any of her top choices because of the "development of new houses in the area".
"We've had a lot of new developments surround the school I would have actually chosen as my first choice. My daughter already goes to the nursery in the school grounds," said Buckmaster.
"I've been part of my local community for over 26 years. To know that I won't be able to have my daughter part of that community in that school is a bit disappointing," she added.
