Vanuatu athletes "discouraged" from Olympic training following Cyclone Pam
London Olympics flag-bearer Anolyn Lulu says she's "not motivated" for Rio after cyclone.
Three weeks ago, Cyclone Pam devastated the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu, leaving 11 people dead.
With a population of less than 225,000, Vanuatu has never dominated the global news agenda in the way that it did in the immediate aftermath of the storm. But now, with the world's focus shifting elsewhere, the country's most famous sportswoman, Anolyn Lulu, has told Sportshour she's "not motivated at all" to train for the Rio Olympics, and her team-mates are just as "discouraged".
Anolyn, a Table Tennis player, was her country's flag-bearer at the London Olympics, and was named Vanuatu's 'Athlete of the Decade' in 2009 after winning gold medals at four consecutive editions of the Pacific Games.
She was at home in the capital Port Vila when the storm hit, and wanted to share her personal experience of Cyclone Pam with us.
