As part of our series covering 100 seats in the 100 days to the election, Matthew Price has been to Bradford West where Labour hope to regain a seat they lost to the Respect Party's George Galloway.

The constituency's Labour candidate was chosen after the initial candidate's selection was mired by rumours of sabotage by Pakistani clan politics.

The Labour candidate, Naz Shah, is a British Pakistani who has made her back-story - her mother killed an abusive partner and Ms Shah was herself forced into an arranged marriage - public to avoid it coming out at a later date.

"I knew that somebody would pick it up," she said. "If I'm putting it out there I'm controlling my own narrative."

Mr Galloway is very popular in the area with young and female voters who like his stance on British foreign policy.

"We successfully won, I think, the biggest swing of the twentieth Century on mainland Britain," he said on winning the seat from Labour in 2012.
