Boris tells Boston 'Olympics opposition will fade'

London Mayor, Boris Johnson is on a six-day official visit to America, beginning in Boston which hopes to host the Olympic Games in 2024.

He told officials from the Boston 2024 bid team that they should 'be braced for negative media activity' which he described as inevitable.

Mr Johnson said those doubts would fade in the weeks leading up to the games as the benefits promised by organisers begin to materialise.
