Woman who does not smile: 'I have fewer laughter linesβ
A 50-year-old woman, who says she does not smile, says her friends look noticeably older than her.
Tess Christian claims she stopped smiling in school and carried the practice on in later life to avoid, in her words, looking βhideousβ in photographs.
But as she grew older, she noticed that she had βfewer laughter linesβ than other people her age.
Rather than βact out the emotion" of being happy, Ms Christian says she just states her feelings.
