At the start of this year the Government introduced its new 'School Food Standards', aimed to give school cooks greater freedom whilst ensuring pupils get the fuel they need to concentrate in class. The new food, is going down a treat in a school in Leicestershire. A growing number of women are suffering at the hands of many budget salons - some of them right here in Leicestershire - which are using a strong chemical glue to bond nail extensions. With library services across Leicestershire already under fire, now mobile libraries are also facing county council cutbacks. The six vans owned by Leicestershire county council serve more than three-thousand-eight-hundred people, mostly on a fortnightly basis.
