Cricket journalist, Andrew Ramsey, said his friend, Phillip Hughes was "driven" and "knew what he wanted to do" after his cricketing career before he passed away on Thursday.

He went on to say that Hughes was "loved by his team mates" and was "a real consummate professional". The 25 year old Australian Test batsman died in hospital two days after being hit on the head by a delivery during a domestic match in Sydney.

Mr Ramsey said Hughes was "very close to his family" and would go back to help his Dad on his cattle farm with "every chance he got".
