The village of Quorn (PART 1)
The village of Quorn is the proud owner of not one, but two schools. St Bartholomew and the building it replaced in 1972. The old school has been used for bits and bobs over the ensuing 42 years, but was used less and less as more and more of the building fell into disrepair. Since 2007 it's been empty and looking very forlorn. Well the local community didn't want to loose it forever, so have been raising money, first to buy the building from the County Council and now to turn it once more into a building for the use of the village. Ben went to have a look around...
