The Perfect Daughter: Lesley and Ruth
Mum is worried that her daughter has never really gone through the grieving process for her dad, who died aged 44 of testicular cancer. Instead she has always been the trouble free eldest daughter, and mum thinks Ruth refusing to eat was her way of exercising self-control, when everything around her was falling apart. But mum would love her to really let go, and join her in screaming and shouting at the unfairness of losing the man they all loved.
