How Wimbledon champion Anthony Wilding was denied a fifth title by World War One
One hundred years ago, on the eve of World War One, New Zealand's Anthony Wilding was bidding for his fifth men's singles title at Wimbledon. Regarded as the 'Federer of his day', that was to be his last Championships - the following year he was one of the millions to die on the battlefields of Europe. His great niece tells us more about her ancestor.
