Refugee writers come together in new city project
Can you imagine having to flee the city you live in, your family, and the friends and life you have to go somewhere totally new because your life was in danger.
Sometimes being able to write your experiences is easier than speaking them out loud and that's exactly what Agrena Mushonga who was once a school teacher in Zimbabwe has done.
Agrena says she's championing the cause of disadvantaged refugee writers in Leicester with her writing project, New Voices Wagon Project.
Leicester University was the location for the launch of her anthology, and 成人快手 Radio Leicester's Kevin Ncube was there. In this extract he begins by asking Agrena about the project.
*Ruth Pink who is a refugee author, is the last voice you here on the report.
