Dylan Thomas reads Ceremony After a Fire Raid
A reading by Dylan Thomas of his famous poem describing his reaction to the death of a young infant in a bombing raid over London in the Second World War. Published in Dylan’s best seller, ‘Deaths and Entrances’ in 1946, this poem was first broadcast by the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Service in December 1945 for a series called ‘ Poetry Promenade’.
