The Fall of Idi Amin

Ugandan dictator Idi Amin ousted; anti-Soviet demonstrations in Tbilisi; 20 years since the Rwandan genocide; and the discovery of a vaccine against polio.

In April 1979 the brutal Ugandan ruler, Idi Amin, was ousted by invading Tanzanian forces.
