Fern Hill
One of Thomas’ most famous poems, first published in 1945, remembering happy holidays spent in Llangain, Carmarthenshire. Fern Hill was the name of the house where he stayed; it was owned by his mother’s sister. This version, recorded in 1952, is read by Thomas.
