Kashmiri drama hits the stage

It had been described as "Three weddings, a funeral and the neighbour's dog peeing on the coriander, this is Asian family life as it really is".

The final part in the Trilogy of the Faultlines plays focuses on the unique story of a Kashmiri/Pakistani community and promises to be hard hitting, emotionally moving and humorous while looking at the story of a family embroiled in inter-cultural relationships, racism and the differences in modern day society.

The plays are not only being supported by the Arts Council, but the European Parliament has also commissioned excerpts of the plays, and the play and a discussion were featured on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ's Newsnight.
