The 55 year old is heading for Westminster today to talk to MPs on behalf of a global charity dedicated to finding a cure. 400 thousand people in the UK live with Type 1 Diabetes. It's not caused by diet or lifestyle and can be really tough to manage. Type 1 Parliament Day - set up by charity JDRF - is highlighting the growing number of under 5s diagnosed with the life-long disease.
