USA and Kenya
In New York, Laura Trevelyan's 7-year-old has a drill at school - for a gun attack. Natasha Breed meets a conservationist-turned-poacher, coming clean in Kenya.
Following several recent gun attacks in the US, including at a school in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, in 2012, many Americans are nervous about their children's safety at school. Laura Trevelyan was forced to confront the harsh realities of gun culture in the United States when her seven year old took part in a drill simulating the aftermath of a shooting.
In Kenya, illegal hunting of endangered rhinos continues, feeding demand for their horn in the Far East. Natasha Breed meets a former member of a Rhino Security Patrol. He once assisted poachers, but now helps the authorities catch other hunters. But with the temptation of eye-watering prices, how effectively can others be deterred from killing this vanishing species?
