Annabel Davies
Twelve-year-old Annabel Davies first came to JG's attention when one of his friends from his home town of Lyme Regis - Geoff Baker - suggested he check her music.
听
Geoff spent many years as a music journalist and worked as publicist for Paul McCartney, so he knows his stuff. "I don't usually do this," he told John, "but you really should check out this girl."
听
And so today's the day that Annabel - who's recently taken part in a national singing competition - comes to Plymouth and performs live.
听
"I've loved singing as long as I can remember," says Annabel, "singing at school and suddenly being thrust into the limelight when invited to sing solo in front of several hundred parents, teachers and staff within my first听six weeks at John's听former school - The听Woodroffe, in Lyme Regis."

听
Sunday 26th January 2014 is World Leprosy Day and Rachael will join today's show to dispel a few myths and tell us about the Trust.
Siloet
Sam J Welch and Liam Gallagher have been writing songs together since they were just 14.
听
They first met at South Dartmoor Community College, where they formed a band called "The Burtons" (named after Ashburton).
听
After parting ways to study music business degrees (Liam at Middlesex University in London and Sam at ACM in Guildford), they made a decision three years ago to move in together in Muswell Hill (North London) and start the Siloet project.
听
On today's show, the pair are joined by Courtenay Andersohn-Purcell on keys and Will Brown on Drums.
听
They'll be performing live and talking about their Devon connections - including dung beatles!
Russell Sinclair and the Smokin' Locos
Since Plymouth singer songwriter Russell Sinclair last visited the Saturday morning show, he has formed a band - The Smokin' Locos.
Currently they are working on a debut album.
Russell is also completing his three-part EP project which he embarked upon in 2013.
He'll be bringing us right up to date and performing a live, acoustic set with his band on today's show.
