A symbolic Walk to Freedom from Leicester's Nelson Mandela Park to the Cathedral was held to commemorate the former South African President. It was organised to reflect the 95 year old's own 'Walk To Freedom' following 27 years as a political prisoner, and takes the name of his autobiography 'A Long Walk To Freedom'.
