She was like you: Johanna and Aurore
Johanna tells her friend Aurore how her decision to act was influenced by her grandmother. Both born in Paris, Johanna and Aurore first met at drama school. They recognised each other as kindred spirits from day one. A decade on, they’re still close and still inspiring each other creatively.
This was their first time in Edinburgh, their first time at the Fringe and the first time they’ve performed in English. They'd come over to perform their play, ‘How to be Modern Marvel’. It was nominated for ‘Best Ensemble’ by The Stage Magazine; news they'd heard just prior to this recording at the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ@Potterow festival site.
