What a scorcher - then the heaven's opened - then what a scorcher again - before the heaven's opened again!

It was the story of the weekend at this year's Nozstock Festival at Rowden Paddocks near Bromyard - where this year they held their Wild Wild West theme.

DJ Yoda, Mr Scruff and Chas & Dave were headlining - but we also nabbed our own stage in 'The Hidden Valley' - and highlights from that will be broadcast throughout the whole of August.

She's just 20-years-old - and when she's not making music, she's teaching people how to scuba dive off the coast of Egypt and the Carribean.

Bekki Cameron is from Little Birch, between Hereford & Ross-on-Wye, and has been playing guitar since the age of nine.

Bekki takes her guitar almost everywhere with her - she loves playing to people all over the world and you often hear her saying "there is no better inspiration than just sitting on a beach and jamming鈥.

Well, this week, we've swapped the Bahamas for Wild West Herefordshire - and we showcased her music at the Nozstock Festival.

We'll chat the organisers of this year's event to find out if it was a success!

Meet The Musicians

Meet The Musicians

Once a month, we've been recording acts chosen by us at a variety of venues across the area - including at some of our biggest festivals.

Our next recording session takes place tomorrow at the Malvern Cube, as part of Malvern Rocks 2013, and features the five acts we plan to broadcast throughout August and September.

Musicians we've chosen to appear at the festival are , , , Puffin Ethics (Hereford) and .

None of these acts knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded - which led them to receiving airplay on 成人快手 Hereford & Worcester.

Doors open at 6pm - we're on till 11pm - turn up anytime and admission is free!

Malvern Rocks

Malvern Rocks

Taking place across many pubs, hotels and clubs in Malvern, this new music festival will be putting the rich, diverse pool of musical talent in and around Malvern once again to work for a great local cause: Acorns Children's Hospice.

Expect three days of free music from pop to punk, folk to metal - in a similar format to that of the Worcester Music Festival.

This year TV star and celebrity chef Loyd Grossman will be headlining the event with his new band!

This week we've sent Andy O'Hare there - where he'll be reviewing:

  • , The Equators, The Computers, The Correspondents, and Parlour Flames at .
  • at The Cellar Bar, Worcester.
  • Shatter Effect & at the Marr's Bar, Worcester.

On The Record

On The Record

A Worcester filmmaker's series looking at music production in the county draws to a close this week.

Jim Lowe's On The Record documents what life's like on the road for our local industry professionals.

The first series was such a hit, he came back for a second run.

He's now exploring ways of filming those musicians who are too nervous to appear in front of a live audience.

Samba!

We catch up with Bromsgrove's Someone At The Door - who were invited to be one of the official buskers at the Olympic Anniversary Games.

We'll ask them about their name - and get them to teach us how to samba!
