A Milton Keynes woman Susan Popoola has been named the Women 4 Africa Author of the Year for her book which draws inspirations, amongst other things, from roundabouts!

The awards now in their second year began 20 years ago fuelled by a desire and passion to see women of African heritage honoured in a celebratory way.

Her earlier published titles include Touching The Heart of Milton Keynes and Consequences: Diverse to Mosaic Britain.
