Michael Mosley, Cassie Newland and Mark Miodownik from the 成人快手 series The Genius of Invention describe the scientific achievements of Charles Parsons. He further developed Faraday鈥檚 dynamo to build a better, more reliable engine. He wanted a one-step engine, not a two-step one, in order to increase efficiency. As a result, he developed the rotary engine in 1884. He developed a double set of blades to extract more energy from the same steam, and a narrowing gap between blades to mean they move faster.
