Dougie begins an epic bike ride from South Uist to the Butt of Lewis. Along the way he鈥檒l be picking up stories on the islands. This week he tells the story of Margaret Fay Shaw, a young American woman who cycled the same route in 1926. She fell in love with the place and went on to record the folklore and music of the islands.
