Da Real Future – Luton man steers teens away from gangs
An ex-gang member from Luton has turned his back on guns and crime thanks in part to a reggae artist from the town.
Marvin Lee, also known as the singer Iceman, grew up in Lewsey Farm as a teenager and found the attraction of gangs too hard to resist.
He spent a year in prison and now works with Jason Newton also known as the Da Real Future on a music project to inspire youngsters not to join gangs.
In this clip Da Real Future tells presenter Nesta McGregor how he helped steer Iceman onto a different path.
