English only driving tests – a reaction from North Staffordshire
A consultation has begun that could put a stop to the option of learner drivers taking the practical and theory driving tests in Asian and other languages.
The proposals have been put forward by the Driving Standards Agency which claims they will improve road safety, reduce fraud and reduce costs.
On ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Stoke Ajmal Hussain has been discussing the proposals with the founder of the North Staffordshire Driving Instructor Association - Salma Rahman - who has been a bi-linigual instructor for 17 years.
